PHOTOGRAPHY FINAL

I borrowed a skirt brace that a friend had made herself to put on and then put myself over the chair.
I was inspired by my own experience. I had a herniated disc from sitting, and I didn't realise the irreversible damage it would do to my body when I was 'sitting'.
I drew a connection from this to the human condition. Once people get used to being in a pathological or very restrictive environment for too long, the environment starts to assimilate them and they start to think that it is the only normal environment. Once the damage is done, however, it can never be undone. So some people will begin to repress themselves to conform to the standards of the environment, or worse, repress others in order to force them to continue living in that environment.
That is what I am trying to say.
